new release 2025 The Skating Rink
David Francey arr. M. Sirett
SATB & piano – CP 2456
TTBB & piano – CP 2458
SSAA & piano – CP 2457
In The Skating Rink, David Francey paints the poignant scene of winter, one that is deeply familiar and undeniably Canadian. David writes, ‘The songs on (the CD) Skating Rink are drawn from various stages of my life. Most were finally written down at the kitchen table where, if you look out the window, you can see the lights of the skating rink throwing at least a small part of the world into sharp relief.’ These accessible arrangements are suitable for youth and community choirs and a great selection for winter concerts.
